Finally got around to making a new set of klink boards and they came in handy as always. I tried using a shredded old mold for filler for the first time. Next time I will definitely shred it finer.

Pics from a casting and moldmaking seminar that I presented at GameX 2009 in Pennsylvania. The good folks at Smooth-On were kind enough to send not only a representative (the indefatigable Adam) but also a boatload of promo and demo material.
In addition to casting and moldmaking, there were sessions on Steampunk 101, prop making, paint application and antique photography demonstrations from Tsirkus Fotografika.
Crackitus Potts from the League of S.T.E.A.M. joined along with a local airship crew and and they were a huge help. Embarrassing pictures have been retracted.
Small doll made by Rebecca and me during a mad night of crafting. It’s stuffed with cat fur because we didn’t have any batting. It is one of the silliest and most disgusting things I have ever made.
